I liked it...

Good quality Dubstep, but, in my opinion, if the kick was harder, to contrast with a Dubstep subgenre, it would be better. Nice work anyway =D

axeFX responds:

uhh? this isnt dubstep dude.

Hum...

I'm giving 8 because you are making the song decently, even so it seems the so-called Epic Trance. Some synth are too cheesy in my opinion, but the lolipop idea is nice. You really need a better kick, for real, that dry kick you put there isn't passing a nice kicking sensation, and its on a low volume, should pump it up.

Its a well build music overall, but the problem, more of a opinion, is that it sounds REALLY cheesy, isnt my kind of song. I believe you could change some synth to become less cheesy and improve the percussion.

Nice work anyhow...

Teck071 responds:

Whole idea was to be cheesy man.

Hahahaha glad you recognise that.

Sounds fine as it is thanks.

Hum, tem idea is decent, but...

there still is work to be done. Those percussions seem so lame (not the pattern build, the percussion sounds themselves), they aren't something that would keep me motivated too much. Try changing those, you might get a good result. Add some FX to a sonic type songs is also good (but not FX from Sonic games themselves, try something that would add up to such a game)...

Melody is decent, but I can see room for improvement there...

Keep working

Ritz190 responds:

thanx for your input, man. always looking for constructive criticism. yeah, it was a quick project since i only had 20 minutes per use of the computer i was usuing. i may recreate the song on fruityloops and add better parts. thanks again man!

Quite nice, but...

I feel some stuff missing. Some Snare build ups to add some more groove in determinate parts, some extra percussions for the same purpose (The percussion is decent, but it doesnt variate at all along the whole music, which I think its important), maybe even some more Kick cuts before a new 8/8 sequence comes to play.

Decent melody, the music, as a whole, is between Progressive and Uplifting Trance (More like Uplifting), but also needs some extra variation I believe, but is nicely made, really smooth and quite well built...

Keep up the good work...

heartless1298 responds:

Thanks!

I'm impressed...

Seemed, at first, some classical remix (almost Chrono Trigger like), but once the beat went in, I could imagine someone singing on this. Might be a good result if it happens.

Well done!

flashmac responds:

Yeah your right.... Thanks

I liked the melody, but...

this is more a breakbeat song then a DnB song. DnB gives heavy enphasis on a tremendoulsy brokenbeat, with a low predictability, and heavy Bass arrangements. I'd define this as Electronica, but not as DnB.

7 because its a real decent song, could use some heavier, stronger Kicks for tempo marking, but you know 8/8 sequences, and how to mark them real nice.

Good Job.

Dj-Rec0il responds:

i know what kind of style the music is, i made it after all :P but due to the fact there wasn't any category named Breakbeat i uploaded it in DnB and be, and if you look closely on the ctaegorys youll se that DnB is classified as electronica :D

well thanks for listening and i hope you njoyd it :)

I liked it, but...

You seem to have abbused a little on Reverbs. Some channels seem to be overlapping others. Try lowering down some of those FXs, and put some compressors to compensate if needed.

FairSquare responds:

Thanks for the advice!

Not even close to Drum 'n Bass...

Not even the so-called inteligent D'nB is so slow and predictable as this.

DnB requires lots of breakbeats, with a huge load of unpredictability on its percussion to sound something extremely awesome. I gotta say, this ain't DnB nor Dubstep, I'd risk as electronica at most.

AlSarci responds:

Is it that time of the month for you?

By the way try reading the author comments...

With your musical expertise and vast knowledge or breakbeats I'd like to see a demontration of what DnB really is, from yourself.

Tech House or Electro...

One of both it sounds, but its quite nice...

Good going...

DJ-VIZ responds:

Thanks, yeah I'd say more electro... Glad you like it!

Sounds like a MIDI you found on the internet...

Add some 8-bit synth to it, and you'll get a real extra nostalgia from Duke Nukem 3D...

"I'm looking for some alien bucket to buck my bricks. Who's first?"

8 because there is no indication you made the whole sequencing on your own, so...

TehSeph responds:

Well, it isn't a MIDI file.

I create these by ear after listening to the piece.
