Not even close to Drum 'n Bass...

Not even the so-called inteligent D'nB is so slow and predictable as this.

DnB requires lots of breakbeats, with a huge load of unpredictability on its percussion to sound something extremely awesome. I gotta say, this ain't DnB nor Dubstep, I'd risk as electronica at most.

AlSarci responds:

Is it that time of the month for you?

By the way try reading the author comments...

With your musical expertise and vast knowledge or breakbeats I'd like to see a demontration of what DnB really is, from yourself.

Tech House or Electro...

One of both it sounds, but its quite nice...

Good going...

DJ-VIZ responds:

Thanks, yeah I'd say more electro... Glad you like it!

Sounds like a MIDI you found on the internet...

Add some 8-bit synth to it, and you'll get a real extra nostalgia from Duke Nukem 3D...

"I'm looking for some alien bucket to buck my bricks. Who's first?"

8 because there is no indication you made the whole sequencing on your own, so...

TehSeph responds:

Well, it isn't a MIDI file.

I create these by ear after listening to the piece.

Sounds something...

coming out of Super Mario RPG for SNES. Real nice...

newskies responds:

thanks!

Happy Hardcore, without the Hardcore part...

Few to almost no elements of percussion, with makes the song really weak. The rhythim is heavily focused on the Happy hardcore genre, and walks real far away from trance. The lack of better percussion simply kills whatever attempt of Happy Hardcore this might try to be.

Improve your percussion skills, make some better bass, add effects in synths, and you'll see a good improvement, but for now =/

Excelent Remix, but...

I see some improvement. Try making the kick sound louder, you're losing a lot of groove with that low kick. Some extra percussions would give it a little more feeling, the song is quite nice, but i don't feel the need of hitting my fingertip on the table to accompany the rhythim.

I'd say that, mostly, make that kick more audiable, and you got a nice remix...

A-New-Decade responds:

Thanks for the review. The kick has a low/short sound because I was going for an oldschool feel where the kick isn't as prominent.

Quite nice Hip Hop melody (almost Rap)...

But I keep hearing some sort of gate effect along the whole music, although its faint, it really is annoying. Thats one of the two things that avoided me of giving out a ten (the other one is, of course, the lack of lyrics)...

But good job anyway. =]

Techno-hop =P

Techno melody with Hip Hop rhythim.

Some more working on both the ends might bring up something insteresting. Adding a little more groove would require a little more investiment on the percussion. If you'd add some sort of vocal music to it, we might have something real nice...

Nice attempt...

But I can't say I like it all. Some synths seem out of place in this type of song. They overlap all the other channels sometimes. Try EQing the song, or changing the synthetic synth for something more organic...

Nothing to add...

Example of the difference between real string instruments and PC created string instruments.

Keep the good work up!

Karmas-Enemy responds:

Thank you, It didn't take as long as I thought and was entirely improvised on the day. It will be remade and placed upon my single and album, as the note says above, and thanks again for reviewing :D
